Respiratory Care Therapy for the Facility and Home Care Setting

New York Home Health Care employs a staff of experienced respiratory therapists, many of whom have advanced degrees.  Their professional experiences include emergency care, hospital care and long-term health care as well as home care.

Services are provided to both home care patients/families and to facilities utilizing our equipment.  Some of these are:

Home Care & Nursing Homes

• Careful equipment use instruction to patients, families and staff
• Routine follow up to insure proper utilization of equipment
• 24 hour on call Respiratory Therapy staff
• Quality assurance documentation that meets JCAHO requirements
• Patient evaluation to ensure needs are met
• Communication with physicians
• Evaluations for pre-admission screening of ventilator dependant patients in hospitals
