AIRUS
NYHHC is pleased to introduce AIRUS Air Fluidized Therapy bed system. The AIRUS Air Fluidized Therapy bed system is an ideal support system for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. NYHHC's Airus offers the optimum in pressure redistribution, portability and ease-of-use for the caregiver and the resident in the home or nursing home setting.
NYHHC's AIRUS provides the ideal theraputic sleep surface. Through NYHHC's innovative technology, surface pressures are deminished below capillary closing pressures. This improves blood flow to the skin, reduces pain and accelerates healing. When the airflow is turned off, specialized beads within the mattress mold araund the body, creating a surface that stabilizes the patient for nursing care, wound cleaning and other care needs.
The sleep surface of the AIRUS is permeable to the upward flow of air and the downward flow of body fluids. Therefore, wound drainage, urine, perspiration and any other fluids, are wicked away from the patient. Speacialized beads within the AIRUS act to sterilize the drainage providing a clean, dry, theraputic surface.
